The Southern California Homebrew Festival (SCHF) is a gathering of homebrewers and homebrew clubs from all over California and beyond where we share our homebrewed beer, experiences, and talk shop. The festival is held at Vail Lake in Temecula, CA. Activities at the festival include educational speakers, homebrew tastings, music, a raffle, and much, much, more.
Ian’s meal plan is WELL worth the cost and takes all of the work out of preparing dinner on Friday AND breakfast & dinner on Saturday the day of the festival. In 2016 his menu was Hawaiian influenced. We had teriyaki chicken, fried rice, poké, and steaks and a lot of extras. The meal plan is highly recommended as an add-on for this event!
UPDATE: Unfortunately, master chef Ian isn’t able to make it this year for the first time in a LONG time. It’s funny how kids graduating can get in the way of good beer tasting time. We congratulate Ian and hope he and his family have a great time celebrating.
All is not lost though… Michael, Tania, and a few other members are going to try to fill the master chef shoes, working in shifts. A difficult task, but I anticipate that the food will still be plentiful & satisfying. If you’re interested in volunteering for a meal, or have ideas that could be helpful, reach out to the President at pacificgravity.com – Thanks
