Pacific Gravity Club Meeting Live In-Person Thursday April 21st
Greetings Pacific Gravity!
Our next club meeting is on April 21, 2022 at Tortugo Brewing Co, located at 916 W Hyde Park Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90302. (424) 227-9963
We will get started about 7:30 PM.
We will discuss upcoming events, the next First Friday and start selling tickets to next month’s monster brew!
We have restarted the ‘style of the month’ effective with the May meeting, for May it will be ‘Session beers’ so that you all will still have time to brew one if you desire! For April, due to time constraints, no style was selected so any beer you have brewed will be gladly accepted and drank!
Our monster brew that was scheduled for Smog City Brewing back in March has been rescheduled to May 28, 2022. Stay tuned for style information, pricing and suggestions for tweaking your wort! These beers can be finished in time for the summer party!
The deadline for entering Mayfaire is Friday, April 22. Register at https://competitions.maltosefalcons.com/2022Mayfaire/ You can bring entries to the Club Meeting at Tortugo and Carl will run them up to the Valley Friday morning.
We will have some updates for the Southern California Homebrew Festival April 29-May 2. If you have kegs for the fest, please add them to the sign-up sheet we will have at the club meeting.
If you did not attend last month’s First Friday (on a Saturday) Bottle share at Martin and Ryan’s 4th Horseman Pizza museum just kick yourself! It was freaking epic! Martin outdid himself as our host and the beers and pizza’s just did not stop coming! A seriously good time was had! Big shout out to Martin and Ryan for all the love!
The First Friday for May, will be on May 6th at Upshift Brewing, 339 Indiana St, El Segundo, CA 90245. We will get started at 7:00 PM.
It is gratifying that we have resumed gathering in person, but as always we encourage and expect everyone will be vigilant about their own health to ensure the groups safety! Please observe all safety precautions and stay home if you do not feel well.
