First Friday 11/6 7pm at Exodus Beer Shop
Our November First Friday event will be at Exodus Beer Shop in Santa Monica. This one was discovered by Mitch and sounds to be a good one – it is in the former location of Weary Livers on Pico Blvd a couple doors down from the Brixton, and is owned/operated by a former brewer from Hawaii. They are both a bottle shop and a beer bar with 20 taps (17 currently active!) which looks on its way to being an excellent beer resource. He currently has some beer from North Park and many others, so let’s enjoy their hospitality and support them!
CCBA Summit Festival 11/7
Porter informed us that there will be a big California craft beer festival in Torrance on 11/7 (this Saturday!). Looks like they have signed up > 80 breweries so it should be pretty epic! Porter has also passed along a code “Beerfriends” which gives $5 off admission until it runs out. It is also includes admission to the Western Museum of Flight, so that should be an interesting walk-around to take a break from the shenanigans.

Holiday Party Saturday 12/5
We have a date for the holiday party! It will be on Saturday December 5 at Neil’s Swingin’ Party Pad ™. More details will come as we get closer, but we want to make sure everyone has the date in their calendar as soon as we can.
St Bernardus Day 12/12
This is a new event for us this year suggested by Scott Burnell- The Back Abby in Upland is hosting a St Bernardus day event – it should be a blast. We are planning on taking the train there. More details will come as we get closer.
