Big Brew Reminder – Saturday May 26th

Hey folks:

Don’t forget that this Saturday, May 26th, is Big Brew day.  At this point we have four brewers and room for one or two more.

If you ever wanted to learn the ropes of all-grain brewing, this is the perfect opportunity.  I’ll be brewing up a batch of ultra-dark porter with a relatively simple mash schedule.  I’ll cover the critical aspects of the process and answer any questions you may have.   In addition, Neil, David, and Anthony will have their own brews going.

We’ll fire up the barbeque to cook up some carne tacos for lunch.  In addition, please bring along a side dish to round out the offerings.

BEER: Is always welcome.  We’ll bring out the Wave of Beer so we have unlimited space for your kegs.  As always, we’ll have plenty of ice to chill your bottled homebrew, commercial beers, and anything else you’d like to share.

TIME: All-grain brews will begin at 10am.  If you are doing partial-mash or extract, you can go for a later start time.

LOCATION: 3621 Redwood Ave, L.A. 90066. It’s just a few blocks west of Beethoven, north of Venice.

Please contact Carl (competitioncoordinator@pacificgravity.com) by Thursday so we know how many people to plan for.   Especially let him know if you plan to brew.
