First Friday, March 5th

If it’s March it MUST be Irish Times. As usual, PG will begin its month long St. Patrick’s Day at First Friday, 3/5. It takes a 2 full minutes, and the wait is well worth the time. The food menu is moderately priced,  with the usual burgers and fish & chips.

The bar is conveniently located at 3267 Motor Ave, just North of the corner of National and Motor.

Parking is in the street.

Official start time is 7, but if you want faster bar and food service get there a little earlier.

First Friday-January 8

Get ready for the First Friday of the New Year, to be held on the second Friday of January.

Because the 1st Friday is New year’s Day, we are meeting at the 5th Amendment in Santa Monica the second Friday .

The 5th Amendment is owned by fellow club member Dan Petrovich, and we’d like to have a good turnout to show him our support.

Address: 129 Broadway (at the South-West end of the Promenade)

Santa Monica

Parking: Public parking structure at Bway and 2nd.

Maximum fee is 3 bucks after 6PM

Dan and his lead bartender Dave are trying to put together something special for us, and it would help to give them an idea of how many of us will be going to the event. Starting time is usually around 7, but the bar opens at 5, and there’s no reason people can’t start earlier.

Please let me know if you intend to come, or even if you THINK you might come.

First Friday At BottleRock, Downtown L.A.

This coming Friday, Nov. we will be going to BottleRock in downtown Los Angeles. We have usually had Sunday events at the Culver City branch, but if you havent been to the downtown incarnation, you’ve missed a very good drinking venue. They have more taps (see their website for menu) than C.C., and more food. It’s easy to get to, and is near the Staples Center and Nokia Theater. They have a new manager, Corwin, so be sure to introduce yourselves when you arrive.

October First Friday- 10/2

Fall is here, and so is our next First Friday. Once a year, PG Veep, Dan Hakes hosts the event, and this year is no exception.

Unlike other FF’s, beer is not for sale. It’s a BYOB night, and anything goes.

Some snacks will be served, but more are always welcome.

Dan always has great homebrew on in the Taproom, and the darts will be flying in the lushly planted back yard.

If it’s cool, the fire will be lit, as will those who show up to imbibe the Nectar of the Mash Gods.

Event commences at 7pm, ends when the last person leaves.

Dan’s address is 2379 W. 21st. Street, L.A. 90051.
Take the 10 to Arlington, go North to Washington. Right on Wash. 1 block to Cimmaron and make a right to 21 St.

Find a spot and walk less than a block to Dan’s.

If you have questions, contact me.
